NOBEL PEACE PRIZE 2022
Nobel Prize committee has awarded this year’s Peace Prize to three orgs: russian, belorussian, and Ukrainian. In other words, it awarded the Nobel Peace Prize to russia, which wages genocide against Ukrainians, and belorus, which provides russia its territory to shoot missiles and send tanks from, killing tens of thousands of Ukrainians in the process.
Moreover, combining these three countries is exactly the russian propaganda sentiment Ukraine is fighting against.
To say that I’m speechless is to say nothing. This is either a cruel cynical mockery of my people dying from the hands of russia and belorus, or just plain stupidity. I cannot believe that on the 8th month of the full scale war against Ukraine the world-renowned organization such as Nobel Prize thinks it is adequate and morally right to make such a decision.
We’ve already seen cynical and simply patronizing tweets from the amnesty international, red cross , pope, and musk, now this.
Western “forces for good” must understand one simple thing: tolerance does not equate to ignorance + patronizing.
In your urge to see only sunshine and rainbows you do not help the world to become better, you purposefully close your eyes on all the atrocities actually happening out there, thereby denying Ukrainians subjectivity and welcoming more deaths, and suffering.
Your “justice” is a 2-fold: denial and plain cynicism that costs Ukrainians tends of thousands of lives!
